MKMMA Week 15- Boot Camp For The Mind

MKMMA Week 15- Boot Camp For The Mind

Many Changes

changesI have a lot to say but not sure how to write it all down.  My post this week is a little late just for the simple fact is that I have seen so many changes.  In my thoughts and understanding of the material in the MKMMA.  When Mark said most people start to “get it” around this time he was correct!

1. My own mastermind-

I was going on an appt on Monday with my sales leader.  We knocked on the door and the person when went to see was not at home. (I think she was hiding behind the door 🙂 ).  So we decided to stop at a coffee shop just to sit and chat.  We started without prompting to mastermind on was to advertise and get my name out.  Which lead to the discussion of narrow-minded people in the office.  Then he said something that verified I was talking to the right person.  My sales leader started talking about nightshade and how you can’t plant it in your mind because nightshade is poison.  I immediately sounded out that “you need to plant corn”. He stood there seemingly startled and started to nod his head.

2. Master and commander of my own life-

I can see the real future for me.  I no longer think about my future and get a sick feeling.  Davene said in the webinar that the pit in you stomach is the same whether it is a fear or out of excitement, we have to make that choice.  I get that pit a lot and used to associate it with fear, dread and failure.  Now I associate it with positive excitement and knowledge that I am moving in the right direction.  So I have the reins and I am confident that I am gaining control of the direction I am steering myself to.

3. Removing the negative influences

This was hard at first, but with some courage and a definite purpose. I have finally let a lot of the negative influence go in my life.  I still struggle, but I am conscious of where it is coming from and block it from my thoughts.  It is a constant battle. My thoughts that is.  I notice when the weird negative thoughts start to develop almost automatically, so I still have to conscientiously stop them, ask myself why I would think that way and begin to think about other things.  i.e. My yearly golf trip, how much I will make in the next 1-2 years, the new house I am going to buy, my body and how amazingly ripped I’m becoming.

3. Difficulties, inharmonies, and obstacles, indicate that we are either refusing to give out what we no longer need, or refusing to accept what we require.

So that is the many changes I have seen in this past week.  Loving it, and it gives me so much energy.

On a side note — For the last couple of weeks I have not slept well.  I can tell when I am tired because it seems to be harder to control the thoughts and frustrations.  So, to get 7-8 hours of sleep is important for my future!!

-Keep Moving Forward

  1. Brian-neighbor….great job in having the courage to talk to your sales leader and mastermind with them. Talking the same language with them elevated you to the next level! Figuring where those negative thoughts are coming from and stopping them in the before they take over is immense! Keep staying ever present! This will not only help your thoughts but will help your sleep. Great WEEK!

    • John,
I sell Life and health insurance. I am working on building a personal development-sales program for that industry as well. Roll out on or before Sept 1st 2017. There are some people who don’t know how to say “no” or “not interested”. So they make appts and then never show up. I don’t get too many of them, maybe 1 out of 20, but it gives me great insight about the way I used to think. Lie to get out of the situation :). That never works and creates a negative effect. Being present in your world without and the lessons are abundant.
